~just a random post...

hey, so I haven't updated my blog in a while...so here I am, typing away again! xD
I gotta say, my New Year started out well....I mean, really, it's like it's really a NEW Year! (For those who know me well, you can proabaly relate in one way or another...) But setting aside the fact that I failed to accomplish some of my supposed resolutions, I managed to start my year well, or at least fair enough...reasons why:

1.) I'm back at Taekwondo (I missed it after my little "accident" back then)
2.) I'm surprisingly improving at Math (really! I know I'm really bad at Math especially Linear Equations and Linear Inequalities are the lessons, but after Sir Jared let us hear the song "Equation" by Ryon Lovett, I started to grow attatched to Math! I got so hooked up to the lyrics...."Me and you make up a perfect equation...", trust me, I'm not the only one....right, Gayle? xD)
3.) I got an iPod...(on the back of my mind: weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
4.) The strangest and most awkward and doubting of all: (and it involves him) Aldrich Ramirez, president of I - St. Ambrose and captain of our Taekwondo team, came up to me one day at lunch and actually WELCOMED me back to the team...(if you know me well, you're right if you think I'm looking like a suspicious Gokudera Hayato right now)

it's awkward, I mean, most of the people I know (most, MOST) are aware of my uneasiness when it comes to Aldrich Ramirez. Not because I hate him, but because...I'm not in his league. He's everything (ok, ALMOST everything) a girl wants from a guy. While on my case, well...let's just say I'm not boyfriend material. But nontheless, Aldrich and I are just polar opposites. We only have one common interest: Taekwondo. Even at that field, we always repel.

I just hope Aldrich and the rest of I - St. Ambrose are not aware of this...

anyway, so I just mentioned New Year, check...
oh yeah, forgot to mention...

My Gender (the TRUE version)

hmm, how should I start this...well, it's kinda personal actually...I told this to one of my friends, and she ended up finding it hilarious...I don't know for you...

I would like to call it..."The Day My Gender Was Undefined"...(the storybook opens...ahem ahem)

So it started last Tuesday, December 8, 2009. We don't have classes because of the Immaculate Concepcion Feast, so I went to Mass with my two closest friends, Dave and Renzo. After Mass, we decided to go to a nearby mall and play DoTA.

Well, I got defeated by Dave because:

1.) I was using Zeus as usual

2.) I didn't mind whoever he was using

3.) I didn't know he was a scourge

Because of my defeat, Dave kept on teasing me that I was weak. So what? Weak or no weak, I don't care. Besides, I don't play DoTA much...

Well, anyway, after DoTA, we decided to grab some grub and look around the mall for anything interesting. So we bought ourselves drinks from Starbucks (I bought Chocolate Frappuccino...my favorite...XD) and we strolled around the mall.

Then my nightmare began. You see, I'm the type who is always attracted to interesting stuff. We passed by this shop, and I saw a shiny necklace on the window display. You know, never in my life was I distracted more than that. I was thinking of buying the necklace and give it to Karmina, maybe....(hey, Renzo! no malice here! XD) So, I went in the shop and bought the thing. Now I'm thinking how I could give it to Karmina...as a friend. (no malice, people)

Then, I realized I was daydreaming when someone hit me. Ouch, who was that? Oh, it's another shopper...wait, why hit me? I looked around me, then I realized...oh no. Tons of people in the shop...it's gonna be hard to get out. So I used the "intelligence" (or idiocy, I'd rather call it) I have to think of a way to get out quick, before Dave and Renzo catch me in here.
And before I could even get out, Lady Luck left my side. The only way I could think of getting out was to squeeze myself between people to get out. Well, I WAS doing fine at first...until I couldn't find an opening anymore. So I was stuck...at a wrong location. You know where I'm at? [FOR ANYONE, ESPECIALLY GIRLS WHO ARE READING, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WHATEVER YOU'LL BE READING NEXT IS TRUE AND A BIT SENSITIVE ON SOME PEOPLE'S PARTS. READ IF YOU DARE]
Okay, you have been warned. You will now read something. (of course you will...XD) So, where was I? Oh, right, where I was...(haha!) So, based on the warning I put, do you have any idea where I got stuck in? Good guess....yeah, I'm in the women's underwear section. (oh boy...) I know, right? I got stuck there for what seemed like years. It felt awkward looking at the panties (sorry!) And I realized some girls, who were around my age, saw me and they were giggling! I can feel my face getting red, almost flushing from embarrasment. Until finally, I got out, only to get laughed at bby Dave and Renzo. They had witnessed my bad luck and were laughing like hyenas. Oh, the humanity...
We decided to head back home. But my bad luck didn't end there, because Dave kept on haunting me...like this...
(we are in the taxi)
Dave: (sniggering)
Me: ???
Renzo: (covering his face with a shopping bag)
Me: Okay, I know I made a hu-
Dave and Renzo: BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! XD
Dave: You should've seen it! (laughs like a hyena)
Renzo: (laughs loud)
Me: -_-
Dave: Bi....sex...u...al!!!
Me: WHAT?!?!?!
Renzo: AHAHAHAHAHA!!! Stop, Dave! My stomach hurts!
Me: (sigh)
So, basically I was accused of being a gay by Dave. Me? Bisexual? Aww, come ON! Dave, if you want to get noticed, please don't pull me in...well, after that horrible day, Dave still didn't stop the "bisexual" thing. He even told some of our classmates about what happened! But what he's telling was an exaggerated version, 'cuz from what I heard from Ralph, Dave told him I played with the underwear! Like, what the hell??????
Well, I told this to one of my close friends, and like I said in the beginning, she ended up finding it hilarious...(I kinda find it hilarious as well...XD)
LESSON LEARNED: Never be attracted by shiny things again, unless you want to face the consequences.

To get stronger...

Oh man, I've got a lot of things to do. Damn, I have to read my Animal Farm for a chapter quiz, finish my Filipino journal, complete my TLE plates and accomplish my book report on Angels and Demons...oh, the humanity. Why this month of all months???? This month, I should be relaxing, it's December, people! I have to tell this to my teacher's one day...-_-

Anyway, I have to keep up with my Scouting training. Sir Billy just told me that I was doing great, but I still need more strength in doing push-ups, bombers and curl-ups. 19 push-ups, 34 bombers and 17 curl-ups are my best, and I'm the third to the lowest in Boy Scout Ranking based on doing exercise drills. Sir Billy seemed upset, because in our division, I seemed to be the weakest one. But on the ggod side, I earned the Most Diligent and Most Improved awards during camping. Sir Billy was smiling as he watched me admiring my awards. That's why I love Scouting so much. I shed so much sweat, experienced so much pain and lost a few drops of blood...but it's all worth it. I'm close to getting the strenght I've always aimed for. I'm getting there, I'll make you proud, Sir Billy! :D

"I'll be stronger one day...you'll all see..."

First Post in First Blog (for the people who cared for me)

so, first off...I should probably type in things about me, right? Well, I was kinda thinking...nah. I want you guys to get to know me as you read my blog entries...so I would just like to take this oppurtunity to first mention some of the most important people in my life and say a little message...

classmates first...:

Dave - for being my first friend in Freshman Year. I know sometimes we're not in good terms and I know I'm always such a klutz, but you're one of my best friends...even if you call me bisexual....-_-

Renzo - hey buddy! just saying thank you for being my loyal "Dota Farmer"...haha! Salamat talaga tol, sana ganyan ka pa hanggang Second Year! (Thanks a lot, dude...I hope you're still the same Renzo when we reach Second Year!)

Justin - thanks so much for helping me in Drafting and Science...I owe you a bunch!

Karmina - my first girl seatmate. Even though you find me a bit slow and too careful, you always say I can do it. Thank you for your encouraging words!

Gayle - Thanks for always treating me to Starbucks after school! And I'm sorry for being too sensitive on jokes. I promise I'll get them this time!

Ralph - thanks for the jacket! It's awesome!

Julian - hey, remember what you said about the fish tank? Well, I take good care of the fish now...:)

Christian - Boy Scouts never looked that good, eh? XD

Darlene - how about bacon every Friday? haha! Thanks so much....for the bacon! haha, and for everything in between...:)

next, my Senior....

Sir Billy - (salutes) Sir, permission to sound off, Sir! (pretend Sir Billy said yes) Sir, thank you, Sir! Hey, Sir Billy...thanks for helping me in my Boy Scouts training. I know it's your obligation to train and help me, but I never expected that you will teach me more than Scouting. You always took my side whenever Joshua, Mike and Tactto tease me. You always gave me advice when I start going nuts about cramming. You always tell me stories when you were a Freshman like me, and you admitted to me that you were once a simple, clumsy, sensitive and silent boy like me. But you told me that you are what you are right now because of Boy Scouting. Sir Billy, I want to be just like you when I reach Fourth Year. I will always remember your legacy to me. Stay cool, Billy-san!

for my family...

Mom and Dad - I know you won't be viewing this, but I just want you to know that I'm proud to be your son. I promise to get better grades and make you proud these years to come. Thank you for everything...even though I get mad when you sermon at me when I do something wrong, I know you only do that because you care about me. I'm sorry for disobeying you, acting like a rebel once then coming back to you, crying. All I can say is, I would never have enjoyed this beautiful world without you. I love you both...:)

Paulo and Mario- I know I can be a jerk sometimes, but I want you to know that I'm thankful to be your older brother. I may get irritated all the time, I may be selfish sometimes and I may not have told you everything...I'm sorry. I promise I'll be a better big bro to the both of you. You're the best brothers I could ever have. I could never wish for more...

and this is for the person who, despite the thousand miles that kept us apart, is always there to hear me cry, laugh, whine and share stories...

Yi Mei - hey, thanks for everything. I want to thank MAL too, because without it, I would never have met you, or at least chatted with you. I know we only rely on chatrooms, but it made us real close in just a few days. Honestly, I tell you every weird/extraordinary thing that happens to me. I want to get to know you more. You might think I'm weird sometimes, especially about the weird things that happen to me. But still, you always cheer me up when I'm down (like the injury thing), you give me encouragement (like the gender incident) and you share a lot of interesting stories to me. Thank you for being my friend, even if it would be hard or maybe even impossible, but we should always keep up with each other as our friendship grows...thank you for many many things....:)
